COVID-SAFE PRACTICES WHEN RETURNING TO OUR CENTRE
- Stay home - If you or child are sick please stay home. Contact reception and cancel your lesson for the day.
- Wash your hands often - Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based sanitiser. We will have sanitising stations throughout the facility.
- One parent per student (ideally 1 per family) where possible - To reduce crowding on pool deck and to adhere to social distancing regulations we ask that only 1 parent/carer be present during children’s lessons.
- Change rooms, toilet and shower usage - These facilities are for quick rinse of showers or you may use the general showers in the gym facility to avoid overcrowding. We do however encourage that all children come and leave in their swimmers/robe and exit immediately after their lesson.
- Sanitisation of equipment - We are undertaking extra cleaning of facilities and equipment. All equipment used will be rotated and sanitised after each lesson.
- Changes to pool deck - The change tables need to be wiped down by the person using it with the disinfectant and paper towels provided after each use. Please adhere to social distancing rules when using the seating on pool deck. We will provide paper towel and sanitiser to wipe the seats after use.
- Signing in and out - All students must have their names marked off at reception when entering the facility.
- Loan goggles and caps will not be available.
- Change to class numbers - We have amended certain classes and reduced their capacity to comply with social distancing regulations.
