A few special individuals from our Balance Collective team decided to lend a helping hand to the Ronald McDonald House on June 15th 2018.
The team volunteered their time and donated the food used to cook up a huge Mexican feast for the Meals from the Heart initiative which helps to ease the pressure off parents cooking dinner after a long day spent at the hospital with their families.
The evening was spent prepping and cooking for the Mexican feast of tacos and ice cream and a fun fiesta of pin the tail on the donkey, a mini dance party and of course a piñata filled with a few treats
The families were very appreciative of the meal and left these beautiful messages:
“Thank you for a fabulous festive night. The vibe in the house was certainly fun! Dinner was beautiful.”
“Dear Balance Collective, Thank you for spending the time dancing and entertaining our two little ones. It can be a very long days here and at the hospital so your lovely meal is much appreciated.”
“Thanks so much for the fabulous food and entertainment. So nice to have a meal prepared for all those well and sick in the house.”
“Thanks so much for the food. It was so good. Thanks”
“Thanks for the food was good/filling.”
“Thanks for a great meal to come back to after another stressful day.”
